The Arizona Diamondbacks released their 2010 regular-season schedule, which is highlighted by a three-game series against the New York Yankees at Chase Field June 21-23.

The Yankees visit will be the second regular-season appearance by the American League club in Phoenix, as they played the D-backs at Chase Field June 15-17, 2004. New York also played the D-backs at Chase Field in two exhibition games prior to the start of the 2006 season and during the 2001 World Series.

Other highlights of the D-backs’ 2010 schedule include a 2:10 p.m. Opening Day game against the San Diego Padres on April 5 to begin a six-game homestand. The defending World Champion Philadelphia Phillies will also return early in the season for a three-game weekend series April 23-25. The rival Los Angeles Dodgers will make the first of three visits May 10-12, followed by a weekend series July 2-4 and then to conclude to the D-backs’ home schedule Sept. 24-26.
In addition to the Yankees, the D-backs also have interleague home games against the Toronto Blue Jays (May 21-23) and road games against the Boston Red Sox (June 15-17), Detroit Tigers (June 18-20) and Tampa Bay Rays (June 25-27).

Fans who are already season ticket holders or wish to purchase season tickets for the 2010 season will receive tickets to all three games against the Yankees. Those who purchase half-season or 28-game plans will receive tickets to at least one game against the Yankees.

Fans that are not D-backs season ticket holders can register online for the opportunity to purchase single-game tickets to one of the three games against the Yankees at Chase Field. All fans that register beginning today on dbacks.com/presale will automatically be eligible for the random drawing for single-game ticket purchase opportunities for the Yankees series. A random drawing for the opportunity to purchase Yankees tickets will be held before single-game tickets go on sale. Those applicants whose names are selected will have an opportunity to purchase Yankees tickets at a date and time to be indicated in an email sent to them.
