Wrestling Documentary Holds Screenings in Tempe on Saturday
Wrestling fans may be interested in a documentary that is holding a screening tonight called Passion and Pain: An Inside Look at Independent Wrestling. The documentary prominently features Impact Zone Wrestling (IZW), a Phoenix-based independent wrestling organization that has held live events around the state for more than seven years.
Current WWE superstar Mike Knox plied his trade with IZW.
There are two screenings scheduled for 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. at Madcap Theaters, which is located at 730 S. Mill Ave. in Tempe. Cast and crew will also be in attendance for a Q&A session. The screenings are part of a doubleheader that begins with an Impact Zone Wrestling event at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $10 and can be bought at www.trashcityentertainment.com. You must be at least 18 years old to attend the screening.
